CHRISTMAS & NEW YEAR SHIPPING

To make sure you get all of your presents under the tree in time this year, please place any purchases online with us by 12pm Tuesday, the 19th of December. Please note we cannot control unforeseen delays once your parcel is in the hands of our courier partner, NZ Post.

Please expect a slightly longer processing time due to Public Holidays for orders between the 20th of December and the 4th of January. Once your order has been dispatched, you will recieve an email with a tracking code. Allow up to 3 business days for this email to arrive from the date of purchase.

NEW SHIPPING RATE

As of Monday 13/11/23, we will be increasing the cost of our flat shipping rate from $5 to $6.50 to reflect rising costs. This new cost is to ensure that our customers continue to receive the fastest service possible. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

BULK SHIPPING RATE

Due to increased shipping costs, we have implemented a bulky shipping rate for larger items such as large Salt Lamps, Magic Butter machines etc. The shipping cost for an order containing one or more bulky items is $14.50 - this is in place of the standard flat $6.50 shipping rate, and is only charged once per order. Please note that orders containing bulky items do not qualify for free shipping, even if the order is over $49 - the $14.50 bulky shipping rate will still apply.

INTERNATIONAL DELAYS

Expect 7-10 days above our usual International target due to reduced airfreight capacity causing delays to parcels coming in and out of New Zealand.

R18 DELIVERY - ID CHECK

PLEASE NOTE THAT DURING PERIODS OF CONTACTLESS DELIVERY WE CANNOT GUARANTEE OUR R18 ID CHECK SERVICE.

As of Monday the 3rd of August 2020, Cosmic has implemented an R18 ID check service at no extra charge to our customers. All R18 products sold from our website will require ID upon arrival to the recipient's chosen address. Customers will need to have their goods delivered to an address they know they will be at as the courier needs to check the ID of the person the package is for.

  • ID check for all R18 deliveries.
  • ID must match the name of the person the package is addressed to.
  • There is no charge for this service.


GENERAL SHIPPING INFORMATION

Orders placed by midday Monday to Friday will usually be dispatched same day. Orders placed after midday may be dispatched same day if possible, but if not they will be the next business day. Please note however that in the event of stock shortages there may be additional delays as some items may need to be transferred from another store. Our chosen freight service Courier Post have an overnight delivery target on business days to major towns and cities in NZ, however, this may be subject to unforeseen circumstances at times. Rural deliveries take 1-3 working days to be delivered once picked up by the courier. While we aim to help as best we can with any issues, delayed and lost items are the responsibility of the courier once dispatched and in the Courier Post system.

HOW MUCH IS SHIPPING?

We have a flat rate of $6.50 for shipping anywhere within New Zealand. Any purchase of $49.00 or more receives free shipping to any NZ address.

DO I HAVE TO SIGN TO RECEIVE MY ORDER?

If you are purchasing R18 products the courier is required to check ID and obtain a signature at delivery, so please make sure you are sending your order to an address where someone will be there to sign for it within working hours. If no one is there to sign for your item then the courier service will text asking you to divert the delivery or leave a calling card with their contact details so that you can arrange to collect your parcel at a time that suits you.

MY ORDER HAS BEEN DISPATCHED BUT IT STILL HASN'T ARRIVED, CAN I CANCEL IT?

Once your order has been dispatched from our distribution center it is in the hands of our carrier Courier Post. We cannot cancel or refund an order that has already been dispatched and is in transit. We suggest you use the tracking information sent in your 'its on its way' email to track your parcel's progress. You can contact Courier Post directly to inquire about your order. If your order has taken longer than 10 days to arrive since the time of receiving this email you can get in touch with us and we can also log an inquiry with Courier Post at this time.

If you would like to return the item, you can follow our simple returns process once the delivery is made.

DO YOU SHIP TO PO BOX ADDRESSES?

Yes, We can offer delivery to PO Boxes in NZ.

CAN I TRACK MY ORDER?

All of our orders are tracked. As soon as your order is dispatched from our distribution centre, you will be sent an email to confirm that it's on its way. You can track your order using the tracking number and link in the dispatch confirmation email we will send to the email address you entered on your order.

PUBLIC HOLIDAYS AND WEEKENDS

Our distribution centre is closed on Public Holidays and weekends. Any order placed on a Public Holiday or weekend will be processed for dispatch on the following business day.

Our distribution centre is based in Christchurch and therefore we recognise Canterbury Anniversary Day as a Public Holiday.

We currently ship to Australia and the U.S.A.

Please note we are only able to send a maximum of 2 batteries per international package, including disposable e-cigarettes.

We currently do not ship Himalayan Salt Lamps, Liquid Lamps or lighters outside of New Zealand.

We currently do not ship vaping products outside of NZ and Australia.

International shipping costs vary for each country and are calculated at point of checkout.

International delivery times vary depending on the destination.

DO YOU DELIVER E-CIGARETTES OR E-LIQUIDS INTERNATIONALLY?

Due to current restrictions, we do not ship e-cigarettes or e-liquids outside of New Zealand and Australia.

AUSTRALIAN VAPE CUSTOMERS

Cosmic continues to ship a full range of vape products to Australia.

From 1 October 2021, Australian consumers will require a prescription for all purchases of nicotine vaping products, such as nicotine e-cigarettes, nicotine pods and nicotine e-liquid. This includes products purchased both in Australia and from overseas.

Australians can import a maximum of 3 months’ supply of nicotine vape products in one order.

Please note we are only able to send a maximum of 2 batteries per package, including disposable e-cigarettes.
